QIB Speciality Pty Ltd. is part of QIB Group Holdings Pty Ltd (ABN 98 163 322 914) and holds a current Australian Financial Services Licence No. 235365. Our Australian Financial Services Licence is issued by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) under the Corporations Act. We are able to provide financial product advice and deal in general insurance products.

Terms of Engagement

Our Terms of Engagement is a formal agreement that outlines the scope of services we provide, responsibilities, fees, and legal obligations between us and our clients.

We respect the privacy of your personal information. This Privacy Policy sets out how we collect, store, use and disclose your personal information (including sensitive information) in accordance with the terms below, and applicable Privacy Laws (defined as laws including the Australian Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Your Disclosure Obligations

We can only fully advise you and assist in arranging your insurance, or with a claim if we have all relevant information. You have a duty to disclose the information which is relevant to the insurer’s decision to insure you.

An Important Notices policy provides key legal and regulatory information, such as disclosure obligations, honesty requirements, coverage conditions, cancellation rights, privacy obligations, and general advice disclaimers that clients must understand when arranging or managing insurance through our brokerage.

Your experience matters to us. We are committed to delivering accurate, honest, and fair service and welcome all feedback, both positive and constructive, when expectations are not met.

Vulnerable Customers Policy

An insurer can provide you with more information about its Financial Hardship process, including an application form for assistance, and information about its Privacy Policy relating to the use and disclosure of your information. Contact the insurer to request a Financial Hardship application form, and for details on where to send your application.

Niba Membership

We are a member of the National Insurance Brokers Association of Australia (NIBA) and subscribe to the Insurance Brokers Code of Practice (the Code). The Code sets out standards of conduct for all members of NIBA.

The Code applies to the relationship between insurance brokers and their clients. It describes key service standards that clients can expect from brokers, as well as an overview of the complaints and disputes handling process.
